Vin number?

Hi Guys,

Found this label riveted to underside of a steering column and was wondering if this is a vin number?

Yup. According to e9-driven that is a US 2800CS VIN. It isn't registered unfortunately...

Well somehow it's steering column and keys ended up in Belgium. Think it's safe to assume that a long time ago it was scrapped. It's ignition contact now is keeping my E9 on the road. So I guess part of it still lives on.
