I would like to sell this vintage Momo 4 spoke steering wheel, dated 6/79 on back spoke. I purchased the wheel around 25 years ago and has been in storage since then. It was sold to me as NOS, appears to have been mounted to a hub and a horn button installed. In last picture there is a little shrinkage where the leather was seemed together when made. Came in a Momo Alpina box showing wear. Looking for help on pricing this vintage piece correctly.

Best, krauser

question is - do you have the hub and horn button? W+N sells the complete wheel / hub / horn button for 368 euro and the bare wheel for 285 euro

Typically the vintage versions of these wheels complete with a vintage alpina horn button go for as much as €400 in good condition from what I’ve seen.
They aren’t hugely valuable wheels, but this one being basically NOS and with the original box is super cool and certainly worth more than the brand new versions available at WN (imo)

It is a 380mm wheel. This is similar to what suppliers to BMW for various parts do. MOMO was contracted to design/produce a steering wheel for Alpina and engrave "Alpina" on the upper right spoke. MOMO then sold the same wheel without the engraving on the upper right spoke and called it the alpina as evidenced by ads seen in late 70's issues of the roundel. This is evidenced further by there not being an Alpina logo horn button accompanying the wheel and a stacked MOMO logo in the picture on the box.
