Visiting Berlin

Hi guys
I am looking for a bit of local advice please.
I am visiting Berlin on a quick family city break.
We are only there for 2 full days with only 1 overnight stay. ( so time is very limited)
We are hoping that we will get around to see the various historical sites and if I have some time leftover , maybe see some classic cars .
I have seen Classic Remise Berlin online and it looks really cool.
So I’m just wondering if anyone can recommend it or not , or maybe something else that might be worth viewing?
I’ll be there with my wife and 3 teenagers and we want to see the Brandenburg gates and the Berlin Wall etc etc

....the Classic Remise is a must!
Same as you I visited Berlin with my wife and the three kids. But since I went there several times before I convinced my family to explore Berlin on their own and had a full morning to explore the Remise. Everyone was happy!

Agree with Tom - Classic Remise is absolutely worth a visit.
With regards to automobile history in Berlin, you may want to try to catch the few remaining leftovers of the famous AVUS - famous race track until 1998 and "mother of Autobahn" :) :

Enjoy a dark beer in the very touristic Alt Berliner Bier-Salon in Charlottenburg, where I would also recommend to have your hotel located.
You can experience a major part of Germany's fast food culture in Berlin when enjoying a Currywurst - which the Berlin people claim that it was invented in the 1940s in Berlin while Hamburg and Duisburg are telling different stories :)

I had the Currywurst at the VW factory. An interesting dish with a historical back story. Glad to have had a chance to eat some.

Yes, also VW made itself a player in the Currywurst game :)
Fun fact: you can order the sausages needed to prepare your VW Currywurst at home in packs of 10 or 12, they do have their own VW parts number (199 398 500 A).
There are many regional variations of the dish, the original Berlin Currywurst is said to be the one made from sausages without skin. There is e.g. a famous stand at the famous train station Zoologischer Garten selling it.
If eating Currywurst in Frankfurt, you should go to "Best Woscht in Town" and select the beef sausage together with one of the many sauce types and your choice of Scoville'ness :)
