W&N Sill Cover fit

Hi

I need to order sill covers (both sides). Just wondering if anyone has used W&N parts, if so how well do they fit?

Sill cover steel left for 2.5 CS, 2800CS, 3.0 CSand 3.0 CSI for all years of production, you need 1 for 1 car

I do not know about the W&N covers, sorry.

But I do have original NOS BMW covers, and they don't fit perfectly (not nice enough for me at least); the gaps of the BMW parts are 2-6 mm in some places: I need to adjust the length for instance, and the curve of the wheel arch is not followed nicely by the edge of the cover.

SO if the W&N parts need some fetling, it wouldn't be strange to me.

This is my experience also, especially at the ends were you attach it to the wheel housing.

Thanks all that helps. Car will be in for metal and paint so can get them fitted up at that time then. While im here any one know the paint code and finish?

I would fit/adjust them first before you go for painting. Make sure that they line up properly! When fitting/adjusting include the rubber also that is being used between the chassis and cover.

This is my experience also, especially at the ends were you attach it to the wheel housing.

I had to trim an 1/8” on door opening, they work/fit well overall. I had mine powder coated.
