Perhaps this may be the time to pull the trigger on an stainless exhaust system from W&N, which I assume is still made by Larini. Savings are about $89 USD but will still need to pay for shipping of course.
For those that have purchased this exhaust system, did you buy any ancillary items related to the install, or was everything there that you needed ?

Stainless?
This is the system I bought, a complete system without headers/manifold.

You might also want to buy this:

And maybe some rubber pieces if those you have are worn.

I just pulled the trigger, and DHL says it should land in SFO any time now. With shipping it was somewhere around $1,100. Can't wait to install it and get the tattered system off my car. My rusty tail pipe doesn't flow with the rest of my car.

Correct. I had an exchange of emails with them after my purchase months ago that the wording was misleading but they still haven't changed it.

I also purchased a complete package - pipes/mufflers, installation kit, and stainless bolts kit. They've confirmed the order and said it had shipped via DHL today. (Placed the order about 4:15 PM European time).

Gary,
Can you tell us if the additional parts that you ordered to go along with the exhaust system cost you extra in shipping, or was it pretty much bundled together with the exhaust kit ? I've ordered some small parts from W&N before, but the shipping charges seemed disproportional to what I actually paid for the parts themselves.

I purchased it as a 'package', so the small bits (mounting hardware and stainless screws, bolts, nuts etc.) probably added nothing to the shipping. I think the shipping was about $120. The VAT that I 'didn't have to pay', was about $175, so the price delivered in the US is cheaper than the price FOB in the EU.

Does anyone know if this exhaust offers a performance gain on a car running headers, high compression and Cam over stock?

Exhaust

Purchased, arrived in one week, two accessory packages, 1 1/2 hours to remove old and install new, great product!

Rear Tailpipe Hanger

I bought the complete system plus mounting hardware 6 months ago for Sixto and the rear tailpipe hanger was not included. Emailed Albrecht and he told me it was not in the kit. I said it can't be a complete kit unless that piece and fasteners was included. He replied they did not include it. I had to find something that worked on the web, bought it and told him about it. It was approximately $20 and he credited me on my next purchase. You may want to make sure it is included now with a specific question to Albrecht.

Frankly it was a pain in the ass to find something that worked.

Since Sixto is a turbo and has a unique down pipe I have the 2 SS down pipes from the W&N set I bought and are unused. You can have them for $100 plus shipping from 95448.

Regards, Jon

W&N exhaust installed today. Great sound, but it's a hair too quiet for my tastes. I'm going to wait for it to break in and then I'll see if I want to pull the silencer out of it.

Said the car lounge boy racer. Bro, do you even autocross? :D

My shipment arrived Thursday 6/18, four business days after the order was placed. Haven't had time to open the box yet, but there was no damage to the box. I'll report back once I open the box.

PS: Opened it today, and yes indeed, these are too nice to put UNDER the car!!! I may have to figure out a way to have side pipes - ha.
