I've seen that W&N are offerering backing pads to reduce brake noise

Has anybody installed these and can review ?

Would also be interested to know more about fitting and if (and where) lubirication is still required ?

Christopher,
We’ve used them since decades, maybe the newer generation of pads don’t squeal as much as the ones in the 70/ 80’s but mine always did and those teflon coated pads (which have been available from W/N since years) made all the difference. One doesn’t necessarily need copper paste but doesn’t hurt either. Fitting is easy as they have the exact dimensions of the brake pads, if your pads squeal, then certainly install those. Copper paste would be behind the pads or inserts.

there is no need to add another piece to that puzzle,
just a dab of copper paste

Jesus is correct. 3m coper anti-seize lubricate. Apply it to the back of the pads.
