This NEW old stock Head cam
Have this numbers 1705784.9


I m not familiar with those heads

I'm no expert, but I'll toss out a couple of things - this head has an 86 casting date and the same part number as the one discussed here: https://e9coupe.com/forum/threads/n...-head-4-sale-1-300-shipping.42644/post-373871. Also looks to have the hole for a mechanical fuel pump, so originally was probably for a carbureted car. Given they phased out carbs in the US before 86 (the casting date), this likely was originally installed on a European car.

It appears that it is a 1986 replacement casting for an engine that was carbureted.
Later intake ports. It would be nice if you posted a pic of the combustion side….
we could all see the different coolant passages and the dimples.

All good- nice later head with plenty of thickness as shown by the dimples and fuel pump ready.
Excellent replacement head for a e9 carbureted coupe.

For an unloaded (empty, no valve train) head, I usually think 1,000.00 Private Party and 1,500.00 retail.

Okk sounds reasonable, but this weekend I will check because I think I have more components for m30 new old stocks parts
Also I m going to take some pictures at the complete block new old stock that I have
