Wanted - 265/6 Bell Housing & 3.45 Diff

Hi Guys,

Looking for a 265 bell housing with (2) Motronic sensors -

265 late motronic bellhousing....

I have 3 available- 150.00 plus shipping.
I think you need something much different than a 3.45 diff...

FYI I'm running a side loader 3.45 with my 265CR and S38. The ratios work great - about 3000RPM at around 80/85mph in 5th. Sure you could move to a 3.07 if you want to do higher speed runs or save gas, but at least for my driving this seems pretty close to right. If I had kept my 280 I probably would have moved to a 3.64 or higher.

Ummm- I was suggesting a minimum of a
3.64 and prefer a custom 3.7 or 3.9 to match
the engine up.

My bad. Everyone else has told me to go the other way. I probably wouldn't go much above 3.64 without some testing first.
