wanted zenith carburettor plastic Plugs

Rebuilding my zenith crabs 35/40 i noticed i was missing both plastic plugs as per the pictures.. I don't think this are available new.. will take good ones see picture below..

I have been also on the lookout for them, but was unable to find them. Appearently they are same as used in Mercedes models of same era. If you find a source that has multiple, pls share it.

there are in metal and in plastic

Rebuilding my Zeniths I added this plastic pieces. Just to be perfect...
At least in my case I had risks, that this conflicts with the underlying cold start mechanics.
So I removed them at the end.

i wonder what kind of setup you do have,
in stock conditions is impossible to have any kind of interference
moreover, if you remove those caps unfiltered air will go into the carbs venturies
so, bad move my friend
i would put them back asap
