My pump is no good so I need to replace it, luckily I checked before ordering from W&N.
So what have I got, because it looks to me that the replacement part won't fit ?

That does not look like an E9 bottle and pump. Perhaps from NK or e10? The e3/e9 has a flat bottomwith two pegs moulded. The pump fits onto the pegs and and fixed by moving it (the pump) sideways to lock in position.

Open up the pump and make sure the little electric motor still runs. If so, clean the rust from between the two brass gears and the bottom plate. Then polish the plate with some fine wet-dry sandpaper. Reassemble. Off you go...

These pumps frequently stick because of corrosion. I have five or six I can rotate, but prefer to clean the windshield in the garage before I go out.

A PO (or you) apparently relocated the brake/clutch fluid bottle to the opposite side of the car? Oops no, you're down under. All bets are off!

Call Jim at Mesa Performance if you want a new one. You can still get a new one; but I believe it is a Porsche part.

Sorry IOMH. I was just trying to be funny. I'm old school and just like knowing name's of people.

Went to the Brian Redmond book signing and talk in Walpole MA. It was an excellent time and well worth the trip. There was also a very nice Nachtblau CSi from CT and a Polaris CSL from MA. Brian Redmond signed my CSL print and personalized the book.
