The Nachtblau coupe looks nice, imported around 1979 from the blue plates. Rear side markers show that when it was Federalized the importer mounted them too far forward and high. If you like Blue/Blue you should check it out.

I don't see where he's using the letter as "confirming authenticity", but it is nice to has a little history on its origin. I take it as it is... a car got burned in a garage fire and he's offering it on ebay if anyone wants to save the car. That's a lot better than scrapping it.

Too bad it poured rain in LA today and is suppossed to again tomorrow so this always garaged car got a good soaking since this dealer keeps all his cars outside. That said, I've seen a few of his cars and he tends to have fairly decent ones, although I've not seen this one.
