Hi I'm having problems with my webers on my 71 2800cs It runs good when you are on it but when trying to maintain a speed it runs bad can anyone help me thanks Shane

when did it start behaving like this?

is your timing correct and fuel & ignition components in good working order?

I just restarted my Coupe after some downtime replacing water pump, starter, alternator....plus many "while you are in there" bits, then noticed when I put my foot on the pedal, there was lag, never had that before. Then noticed leaking at the accelerator pump diaphragm assembly and figure the diaphragm have torn. New ones available in town, pick up tomorrow. But you should list more symptoms, describe what exactly has changed and so on...all this is recognizable because others here have had the same at some time or another. Mike

Hi I'm not sure what webers I have I just bought the car and I advanced the timing and it runs great when I'm on it just won't maintain 35-45-55 it runs bad. thanks Shane 402-301-7157
