Been plodding on with the the LHS rear arch structure including repairing the bumpstop/spring location tower and of course yet more holes :roll: Spot the large patch behind the tower.......
Nearly got the rear wing assembly done. The tricky bit is to butt weld the remaining patch on without causing major distortion. So far I do a small tack, wait, then do another. Next Ill have to dress them all off to the same thickness so the patch can take on the curve of the rest of the wing
Remaining to be done on this side is to finish off patching inside the wheel arch and around the boot floor, such things as the exhaust hanger mounts, seam welding where I can, dressing off all the welding.
After that its get the multiple layers of paint off and start lead loading the joints and dents as required.
