I spotted this at the Technik Museum in Speyer Germany today. A 3200 CS. I think we can agree we're glad they continued evolving the design.

Yes, I think our cars owe a lot to the Bertone CS.

Tilting the m30 so as to retain the low hood was a key decision.

These were produced after the 502, 503 & 507s & were the last holdover from the aluminum V8s & only made from January 1962 to September 1965 until all the motors on hand were used.

Many styling cues made it to the NK Sedans & Coupes which led to the 2800 CS, 3.0 CS, CSi & CSL.

Very cool coupes. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Bertone with kink by Hofmeister.
Bertone built the bodies and sent them BMW for final assembly.
While NK sedans where unibody 3200s were still body on frame and solid rear axle. But it’s got a V8 and round tail lights.

Nice pics...
I was there a few years ago. Awesome museum. :)

Hope you had a chance to go in the planes.... and the Buran....
For an aero junkie - walking through the Soviet space shuttleski was just neat...
