What’s the difference

This might be a rhetorical question, but I do have two sets of the forward part of the headliner.

I’m assuming the square hole is provisioned for a sunroof car (74, doner parts car) the hero car is a 72 CSI

Piece by piece the puzzle is coming together.

The square hole one is for an electric sunroof car. The oval map light is relocated to the driver's side near the grab handle.
