I went for a 12 mile bicycle ride in the fog at 4:30AM. I renewed my Laguna Seca Historics spot - Site 415L - hope to see a bunch of you guys in August 2026! If I'm lucky, I'll be driving a functional 1972 E3 I'm buying from the Bavaria Rescue Project in Northern California. (Patience everyone - Next week, I'll be posting interior and engine shots on the 1970 E3/2800 I'm selling.) @TomHom sent me an invoice and E3 parts will soon be on the way to Southern California... and the new Gymkhana video (Australia) is friggin' hilarious - as you'd expect. I've never seen a guy drift a car across a river. That's a new trick... next level shenanigans.

What a day! And I can't wait for the E3 photos. Can you tell me/us more about the Bavaria Rescue Project functunal E3 you are buying? You can see by my photo I am currently driving an Agave 1972 Bavaria, our fifth(two were parts car). And I have just started an article for Dirk's "The Ultimate Classic" about the Bavaria.
