What colour should these be?

Just having the manifolds Coated in black Cerakote but not sure what colours the heat shields were as original?

They were natural unpainted aluminum.

I blast mine with a media first , then use a gray hi heat POR 15 on them, doesn't discolor after many heat cycles and withstands me hitting them with a spark plug socket once in awhile
