73 3.0 CS Euro: This is along side my coil, ballast resistor is on the other side. White wire from it goes to negative side of coil. What is it? Also from memory and electrical diagram, wiring to coil seems correct but want confirmation since the diagram actually does not indicate coil polarity. Two black-red hashed wires (SW-RT) to positive (one off ballast resistor), Two solid black (SW) to neg, green wire to top of ballast resistor.

I supresses ignition caused electromagnetic waves which are picked up by the radio
