I have read a few times about some musician or rock stars that has owned a coupe, but have forgotten who they were since I didn't really care.

I only bring it up because a new friend just told me she use to live next door to a 'big rock star' 20 plus years ago and he had one (she lives in NYC).

I'm seeing her tomorrow and wanted to impress her by naming the guy.

Any idea who it could be?

rock star e9 owners

kenny loggins would be considered a lite-rock star to me!!! anyway carol king and bob dylan had them as well. Bob used to park his in the garage in the building where i grew up in NYC since his accountant lived across the hall from my family . i used to see it as a kid and thought it was really cool. i guess i wanted an e9 for a long time!!!

I agree SirShorty...obviously 'Big Rock Star' is a relative term.

Bob Dylan and Jerry Garcia qualify though, and I do like Kenny Loggins. I wonder if he wrote 'Easy Driver' about his E9.

I now remember that kenny loggins coupe was for sale recently and may have been talked about on this forum or maybe on ebay.

Not quite a 'rock' star but still a legend... Bob Marley owned a 3.0. He joked that BMW actually stood for Bob Marley and the Wailers.

For all the railfans out there, I understand Greg Maxwell, the last president of the Erie Lackawanna, owned a coupe. Don't know the particulars.

If you look closely it appears to have the raised grilles on the hood whereas the 2002's are just recessed openings.
