These springs came with my 72 3.0CS that I bought in May 2012.
They have a tag on them that says CS. That's all. No part number.

They came in a box to the PO from a man named Paul Reichert in Bainbridge PA April 09.
Did a search for this name but nothing came up.

Can anyone help? Sorry iphone photo not to sharp.

Thanks,

Gary,

greetings from Qatar, what are the height of the springs? perhaps somebody can tell you if they are stock or not by the height.

Good idea Scott I will measure tonight and repost.

Wow you get to go some cool places. What is the time difference?

Gary, cool is not a description i would use of Qatar. it gets into the 90's here during the day in mid november. it was 89 at 10pm when we landed yesterday. gets to 130 during the summer.

time difference is 8 hours ahead of atlanta. +3 gmt. so its early in the morning, i woke up and can't get back to sleep - so i'm reading what my friends on e9coupe are writing.

cheers

Mine are 12" which could mean 1" of sag from 40 years:

Thanks guys. Look like they are stock springs.
When I get to rebuilding the front end I will compare them to the existing springs.
Darn, I was sort of hoping they might be lower. :-?

Measuring uncompressed springs is a hit and miss proposition. Both the B&G and Carl's spring dropped the same amount but his were two inches shorter to start.
