What to do about non-availability of calipers?

Okay, so I need brake calipers (front right and rear left are being problematic). I've checked RockAuto, Autozone, O'reilly, NAPA, Bavauto, Ireland, etc., and either the calipers offered are for solid rotors, or they are not available with no ETA. My car is a driver, and I'd -really- like to avoid spending $300/ea on brand new calipers.

I like the idea of buying the calipers that are available for solid rotors, splitting them, and using the spacers from mine to make them work with the vented rotors. Trouble is... I can't find a source for the o-ring seals that go between the spacers and the caliper halves. RealOEM shows the part in the diagram, but it is not listed underneath.

Any suggestions?

sent you an e-mail,
EDIT: I ordered the rears from Rock Auto this morning,
they are the ones remanufactured by Nastra listed for 3.0CS asnd E12's
I searched under 74 3.0CS, they did not come up in a 3.0CSi search.
Also ordered the fronts from Bav Auto remanufactured Nugeon.

update: the rock auto parts are already shipped!
With core charges what they are now (30-37 bucks each)
I will debate sending them back, though I have NEVER messed with caliper rebuilds.
Even if I eat the core charge still got all four for about the cost of one new one!

I just bought rebuild kits from ATE. Even in New England and left outside by P.O. for years, my pucks and housing were fine. It was failry easy despite having never done it.

Just ordered a set of 8 (4 extra because.... well, you know) anyhow, I will report back. So the inexpensive fix would be a quality rebuild kit(s), and the correct rubber washers. I'm doing mine the inexpensive way so I'll report on my thread on how it turns out. If you see a post seeking a local e9 body shop you'll know I did not so good.
