I am rebuilding the internal and external pieces which provide support for the front and rear windows, both outside and in. These are the long chrome sections that the wood is attached to in the interior.
BMW use a type of fastener/rivet which seems to be copper and flush on both sides. This is used to fix the rubber and brush on the outside, and for the metal piece to the chrome piece on the inside.
What are these called? I have looked up double flush rivets and only find references to the aircraft industry. Not being a fastener expert - anyone have the name for these?
