I found a set of WEDS wheels that I am interested in buying. They were previously on an e12 was told they would also fit an e24. Can anyone identify from the pictures whether or not they will work on my cs? The only thing I know now is that they are 16"
Any help is appreciated.

Wheels MAY fit

All of the models you mentioned are dimensionally similar so I would guess they would fit. BUT you should be prepared to roll the front fender lips and you will likely be limited to tire size selection.

It is common knowledge that the front fender well area has less tolerance for size differences than the rears. Much has to do with the offset of the rims which you can easily determine using a tape measure. Ask the seller to measure them for you.

Equally important are the tire sizes you put on those rims - on the front axle. A 205 55X16 is practically the same height as the original 195 70X14's. The 225's for which so many are fond are taller and wider. In turn, they may fit in the rear but 225 tires and even 215's and 205's may rub the struts or outer fender lips.

Thanks for the info. I will ask the seller to measure for offset.
In the meantime, if anyone else has any info on these WEDS wheels please let me know.

I have set on my coupe. They are staggered, but I don't recall the offset off the top of my head. My fenders were already rolled and they fit just fine. If you get the measurements, I can compare them to mine. They are really good looking rims, in my opinion.

I still don't know the offset but I found out that all 4 wheels are 8".
Has anyone been able to mount 8" wheels in the front without rolling the fenders?
