I would like some new chrome wheel nuts, I understand that I need
M12 by 1.5
60’ chamfer
Closed nut, ie a cap on it.

But what else do I need to look for? Better still, anyone recommend a good supplier in the U.K.?
I have read Coupeking is good, but it seems extreme to buy wheel nuts from the US.
Thanks for any help.

I went for chrome, my wheels are all silver and when they were repainted before I bought her, they left them all silver with no black centre. I plan to do it one day, but you know how it goes

New and old wheels nuts, they look a lot better.
There are two big difference
The new nuts are longer, which I don’t see as an issue.
The new have a floating collar, I can see a disadvantage in that, but I am open to views.

I expect that the old ones were original factory fitted as I have a series 2 CSI which came standard with Alpinas, but you never know after near 50 years.

I trial fitted a few, they don’t seem to reach a final tight position as easily I expect that is due to the overall longer collar still bedding in. I will drive it, loosen them and retighten, with a torque wrench.

Fitted.
Yes, I know the wheel centre is normally painted black, let’s call it work in progress
Like this I can zoom in more than I can see in real life which really shows the pitting in the original casting, but let’s call that character or patina for the chips and scratches.
