I just realized last night that my '69 E9 doesn't have a speaker in the car. Where does it normally go?

Front speaker is in the dash above the speedo/tack in front of driver. There should be a plastic mesh cover on top.

Aah, now I see it. I guess my windshield has never been clean enough to notice. LOL.

Mesh is muy fragile....if you have a speaker, the cone will probably be dust.

The 3,3Li had factory installed stereo radio with one speaker over the instruments, and twin speakers in the rear shelf.

Quite interresting solution with mono in the front and stereo in the rear.

3 screws. Stand outside and look through the windshield, use a stubby phillips.

Hi
I can not not have music in a car and that's balanced by not being able to cut holes for flush mount speakers. So I am going with somewhat retro looking surface mounted speakers. My 'radio' will be a retrosound unit; all the modern goodies but the proper look.

Regards
Bill
