So now that I've got the new headers in there, with O2 sensor bungs, I can hook up an air / fuel mixture gauge to dial in the jets.

Any recommendations on which gauge / sensor to get?

I plan on just a temporary installation.

I recommend basically ANY of the Innovate products. I have the LM2 w/ data logger and I like it. You don't have to add a gauge to your dash, and you can do a run around the block and then pop the SD card into your computer to see if you have a good mixture up through the revs.

I think he is going to not have the gauge mounted so an LED is quicker to respond than the analog, I have both analog and digital Innovates but mounted the G5 analog model after I grafted a VDO bezel in place of the existing one and painted the needle white. If you might permanently mount it at some point then I think analog looks better.

And after surgury mounted it with the VDO gauges:

Installed today. Easy once I found an unused firewall penetration above the glovebox. Got the Innovate MTX-L. Got it all set up and calibrated. Replaced the volt meter with this in the plate where the dash speaker used to be (but kept the oil pressure gauge). Then it started raining, again. Results to follow after I get the roofing job done tomorrow assuming the rain holds off.

It's been raining almost constantly here in VT for thr past 2 months. I got a BMW R1200C as a replacement for the Laverda 3CL, but I've only put 450 miles on it due to all the rain.

I'm flying into Lebanon (NH) tomorrow and hope the weather keeps my flight uneventful!

Please post pics of your setup.
