the cover plates for the early, sardine, electric window motors go?
Do they "protect" the inner side of the motors, as I think, or are they visible from the inside (when door card and protective plastic sheet are out).

The question is "what good do they really do" ?? These early regulators and motors are so much better than the USA `74 cars which are almost impossible to remove and, later, put back. On some of my cars they work faster than my modern cars´windows.
