Will lowering springs (suspension) from a E12/E24 fit?

Hello All,

From my lurking/research, I know that the S/T sway-bar kit (52015) for the E12/E24 can be fitted on the E9......but are the coil springs for the E12/E24 interchangeable with the ones on a E9?

I found a set of E12/ (early)E24 springs and wonder if it would fit my '70 2800CS.

Does anyone know or have tried/done this?

yes, they do, but only for the front, rears are different.
