IN my sorry attempt to get the windows to operate a little faster, it seems one of my widows may be frozen.

Unlike the driver-side door, when I hook up battery power directly to the passenger door window power leads, the wires spark and heat up, rather than go up or down.

I have seen an allen wrench looking tool. Is this for the windows, or the sunroof.

It its for the sunroof, how do you open the windows if the motor or fuses fail??

Thanks for the help.

The Allen wrench is for the sunroof. You should have a round cap on your door panel, remove it and it will expose a white plastic cylinder with teeth on it. There would originally have been a plastic "rack" in your tool kit, basically a piece of white plastic with corresponding teeth which you will be able to turn the wheel and raise or lower the window. You can do it manually with your fingers but will take quite a few turns, I have been able to free up mine by moving the wheel and at the same time toggle the switch up and down.
