Generic U-channel felt is available, 1/2” x 9/16” unbeaded
I bought the U-channel stuff from Wallothnesch.
I need the felt that sits below the window hardware "exit".
This stuff looks pretty suitable.

Yes any 1/8 felt will work, just needs to stand up to contact cement. I made many runs to Joann fabric during the interior resto.I bought the U-channel stuff from Wallothnesch.
