Hello

You miss the tiny parts that go in the slots under the screen
It consists in a little locking washer, a rubber washer and a spring with another washer.
What often happens is that the locking "circlips" washer comes off and releases all the assembly by the spring effect.
I think the assembly is at the bottom of your door. And must be easy to rectify.

My window did the same thing earlier this year and its no consolation but I couldn't find the clip either. I concluded that it must have fallen out of one of the drain holes in the bottom of the door.

Hi !!
Tiding away my things, I manage to make photos of the arm.

1/Overall view / Locking circlips, 1st small washer, and second big washer.

2/Lateral view / Spring appears (compressed).

3/Position of the finger indicates slot metal piece under window :Note that both washers are hard plastic.

you understand now, why all pops off when circlips comes off !!
....if this can help.
