Some time ago I asked the group for the P/N used for the Mercedes heavy rivet that also fixes coupe motors. No response.
Today, excavating in Art W's tech articles, came up with the number: 115-586-01-72. Called the local MB dealer and was told that number has been updated to 115-991-01-05 and is described as "Pin" and part of a repair kit for window motors. Backorder from Germany maybe 5-6 weeks (no ETA given for backorders from ze alte heimat).
Now to dig out my clunkety window regulator - gears aren't meshing well at all - and see what I can do to fix it. Fortunately it's on the passenger side and isn't used frequently.
