My front right window switch broke. The plastic chrome piece that holds the switch together. Does anyone know if disconnecting the one switch will affect the other front window switch? ‘74 cs.

Damn. I’ve replaced every relay that I know of associated with the widow switches to no avail. Don’t know where to go from here. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Steve.

Not clear what does not work, one window? all windows?
74 model I think has a fuse you can reset, I assume that fuse is ON. Measure voltage after the fuse to confirm.
74 has two terminal motor so both 12V and Ground are applied through the switches and reversed for UP/DOWN.

Use ohmmeter to ensure both 12V and Ground are passing through the switches.

Right front window switch broke. The plastic chrome piece that holds the switch together. Found switch in full down position for a couple of hours. Don’t know if ignition was on during that time. Ordered a used switch from Australia, and a ‘77 630 switch from Wallothnesch that looks to be the same. If there is a reset, where would I find it?
