Windshield help please please please!

Good idea, but the buck still stops with the supplier you buy from, in this case BMW.
I don't really care where the thing is made, JUST MAKE IT RIGHT! Or don't bother at all.
I firmly believe 3rd world countries (not sure if you would put Turkey in this group?) can make quality products,
it's just quality control, if your going to go to all the trouble of making something and getting it wrong, you may as well make it right, it takes exactly the same amount of effort.

Know what I mean?

Not entirely true, do you think upstart companies in third world countries have the staffs of chemists, metallurgists, scientists and even experienced production workers that established companies in the USA or Europe have ? Many of those 3rd world companies have 20 to 40 year old machinery that they have bought at auctions and are now trying to make parts with very dated manufacturing processes. While there are some exceptions the only real advantage they have is a really cheap labor pool to draw from IMO. ~ John Buchtenkirch
