Reassembling my windshield wiper assembly. When I took it out, the oblong opening was located opposite from the corresponding opening in the assembly frame. (First photo). I am guessing that it should match the opening in the assembly bracket. (Second photo).
Which one is right?
And, out of curiosity, why is that opening there? It almost looks like a front strut camber adjustment. But you can’t actually adjust it because the three bolts are locking it in place.
