Windshield wipers

Missing the windshield wipers for my 2800CS -69. Found some E3 wipers from -77 for sale, 35$ each..
Do they fit?
RealOem doesn't list them as interchangeable but they do look very similar to the E9 wiper arms.
They also don't seem to be locked by a nut to the pivots like later models.

I had a set of e3 wipers on my '74 that are in excellent condition until I found the correct stainless e9's. They fit, but are not correct for 'concours' points! Still have them, but shipping to Sweden would be very expensive.

They will fit, there is a spring clip at the base near the splines that should clip into a slot on the splined shaft.

They fit but blade holder attaches to arm differently, tip is straight, e9 tip is curved like a U.

I actually found these wipers here in Sweden, I just translated the amount for you.

The wipers arrived yesterday, unfortunately they don't fit. They have a conical hole with splines. My pivots are cylindrical, or at least nearly.

Thank you Keshav, will look into it. I'm not going to be driving in the rain so right now the only purpose of wipers for me is to pass the swedish MOT. Does anyone know of wiper arms from a different car brand with the same splines as the E9?

Hello, Anyone know where I could get my hands on a set of Chrome wiper arms. I currently have the black ones, but prefer the chrome ones as they are nicer.

Could the black ones be blasted and chromed or polished? Might be easier than waiting for an original set to show up.

They can be polished but the mounting piece on the spindle is dull pot metal.
