winsdscreen wiper mechanism#

hi, does anyone know if the wiper mechanism on an e28 fits an e9 ? My mechanism is siezed and I thought I may be able to use a later model ?

Don't know about the whole assembly but the e28 motor does not fit. E12 and e24 do apparently. Have a look using the RealOEM part search.
