Wiper Arms

Hi All

Anyone had to replace wiper arms - mine came with chrome and want to change to black - there are many parts that can be used I am sure off different models as the CS parts seem to carry a premium - does anyone have detials of what i need to look for to replace?

black ones are available from BMW. People seem to think the chrome ones are more suitable for the e9, hence the prices that good ones and blades go for. I have tried both and think the black arms and blades with the bright windscreen surround is inappropriate. but it is up to you.

Perhaps, like the side grilles, it should be considered in context of the body color.

For grilles, generally chrome grills go with darker body color; black grilles with lighter body color.

thanks guys, mine is being finished in taiga green and with some csl parts so i want to go for black for a more sportier look.

Are there any other model of bmw you can use wiper arms from?
