For those wondering ...YES the E3 wiper/turn signal switch will work in a coupe with a couple of moved molex pins (at least on a 71 2800cs, for later cars you may have to change to the blade type connectors as I think the molex connectors were phased out at some point)..The cable will also reach from either side....(sorry if this was obvious, in all my searches I never found a definitive answer on that one, just a lot of speculation, some open ended posts and some major rewire theories.) Hopefully this will help some one with limited search skills such as myself.
