Hi,

I am trying to get wishbones for my 71 CS and a friend's 74 CS. But noticed two different part numbers, and different lengths. 381mm and 402mm( for 73 up). My question, were the suspension different? Or one is used to give it more negative camber? Can I use the 381mm on the 74? Or visa versa? Positive and negative thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I also saw Chris had mentioned that only 74 used a longer wishbone and different tension strut. Still why the difference in that year?

Don’t know why 74 but the e3 strut housing also changed to accommodate the longer wishbone so as to not affect camber. And this is a perfect example of why you can’t blindly trust RealOEM unfortunately.
