See "parts" below. This got me wondering...the 381mm wishbones were used up to 9/73, then they switched to 402mm 9/73 on. Why? Was this to correct for camber to account for the inclusion of the upper strut spacers, DOT bumper height regs? Most either remove these spacers or locate them atop the towers in the engine bay to make up for the longer studs.
Would switching to the pre- 9/73 wishbones correct the geometry, especially if one were to use the Carl inc. lowering springs as I intend to do ( I also have his fixed camber plates)
Poor weather here causing cabin fever / excessive coupe contemplation!

It isn't due to the spacers, all US/NA coupes had them long before 9/73 which is when production of the `74 US/NA coupes began.

Wishbone length

Yeah but...I see no difference in part numbers for the sub frame only the "tension struts" same shorter by 21mm. Curious why they did this camber modification and what would be the result of using the shorter stuff on the DOT/USA/NA car, especially with lowering springs.
Would it negate the need for the camber plates? Possibly someone has done this either by accident or intension. What was the spec for the CSL?
