Wood trim maintainance

What would you recommend to keep the wood trim maintained to preserve it from drying out ? Will good maintainance prevent delamination or just delay it as it will happen eventually over time ?

If your woodwork is original I don't think there is anything you can do from the inside, you need to ensure that you keep the water out of the car and the wood trim dry, it's dampness in the wood that causes the delamination of the varnish.

+1 and a couple times a year I rub on some real carnuba wax.
