Actually when I hot wired it to establish that it worked, it sounded like a little panzergrinding it's way along a rocky road. J/K, but it wasn't silent with the occasional clunk when the weight that drives the movement re-cycled the mechanism. I had a tii like that, so I know the sound of those.
