WTB 3.45 Differential

Scott, do you want a LSD or an open diff? chances are your car has an open 3.64 diff now ... but that is some information you might want to include. i don't have either to sell

I think one 3.45 lsd is on kleinanzeigen.
Untested, 750 euro , but a lumps of unfriendly steel to ship.

I bought one as well from the same vendor. He shipped promptly, but packing could have been better.

Let me know if you need help.

Thanks. Was it rebuilt and guaranteed to work?

3.45 LSD units that I've seen over the past few years have been north of $4k USD. The last one I remember less than that was around $2,500, but that was about 6 or 7 years ago, I think. The only way to stay sub $1k on this is to purchase a used, "untested" one. If you have a good seller, they will at least open up the cover and give it a quick visual inspection.

@sfdon
I bought one from the seller above; how do I test if it's good? Run it mounted in a car and listen for noises?
Rebuild with new bearings, crush washer and seals?
Can the friction plates be qualified / measured in any way?

We take ours to the gear shop.
Disassembled, inspected, tested, new bearings, seals and o-ring.

Play to win.
