I have the complete manual stuffed into the blue binder. It would be nice to separate the sections into 2 binders.

The 4- ring binder does not have to be a BMW blue one--just have the rings to fit the shop manual pages.

good luck finding a 4 ring binder with the right spacing. most in the USA are 3 ring ... perhaps if you find something from the EU

it is tough to find A4 stuff in the USA. the design company i used to work for used A4 letterhead since we did a lot of work outside of the USA ... and we had a lot of issues getting things.

Scott Andrew's link is the correct binder. Years ago when I bought a bunch of parts from W&N, they sent me their A4 binder with the parts pages that they sell for our cars.
The mechanic that I use for complicated work had an associate in Germany send him a 4- hole punch for adding papers to his shop manuals.

I have 2 gray Krause (same manufacturer of original) binders of the same dimensions as the original. Think these binders were briefly used by BMW in the 1990’s. They have never been used and are in new condition. $75 shipped in CONUS.
