WTB 6, 8, and 10mm inner hex key spanners for tool kit.

I am finishing up sourcing the tools for my toolbox refurb and need the 3 hex key "inner spanner" tools that are now unobtanium. Any one have a set they are willing to sell? They are part #'s 07119906026, 07119906032, and 07119906036.

Also, what the hell are they used for, I have never seen where these would be used anywhere on the car.

Compare the wrench sizes in the chart.

Hex plugs,like oil, etc. and the one bolt on the door hinge.

Most of the other tools were Hazet or Heyco. All still in business.

I think BMW still sells the whole tool kit or did until recently.

There are specialty guys that sell tool kits for Porsche, VW, etc.

Thanks guys, I snagged the wrenches, pliers, and red screwdrivers :mrgreen: on ebay, I have the feeler gauge and original plugs, bulbs etc that came with the car, these are the final pieces to the puzzle.

I investigated the measurements of the companies suggested here, and Wiha is closest fit to the molded foam. I picked up the whole set at Grainger for $12 and now the kit is complete, and they even say "made in Germany" on them.

Great lookin' set of tools! Is that a euro headlight bulb? I took an old bulb and trimmed the sides to fit in mine.

Thanks, it will be on display on the kitchen table for a few days for my wife to enjoy along with me :mrgreen:

I haven't looked closely at the bulb, it's one of the few pieces that came with the car when i bought it - curious now.

I think Coupeking had a repro feeler set available. I can't find a part number for the valve tool but he may be able to help there also.

Maybe someone have spare spanners from the e28 large toolkit. I guess some of them are the same as E9 tools

Should be in mint condition, with no rust, genuine, with "chrom-vanadium BMW" on one side and "350 (or 450) Heyco w.-germany" on the opposite side:

1 open-end spanner 8-10
1 ring spanner 8-10
1 ring spanner 12-13
