wtb 74 front bumber grommet

In case you have not found one, which grommet are you talking about? Since you only need one, can you post a pic of the other? (I assume there is "an other"...)

okay, that bears a follow-up question. since i know you are an architect and involved with design purity ... the obvious question is - WHY? is it a cost thing, or do you just like the big bridges at either end of the car. or by chance are you leaving them, but cutting them back so they are more tucked in?

hello

yea i do like the design purity neat comment
but i reaallllly like the big bumpers and
its a 74 usa
i has to have the right bumbers and
i just had them super polished and they look gfantastic
i love em and the extemsions that go back to the car
thats one of the real reasons i bought the 74 and not earlier

Alan,

do a little research on the "tucked" '74 bumpers ... where the mounts are shortened, and the side pieces are also shortened. i think it looks good. i'm one of the people who likes the '74 to '76 2002 ... i don't mind the square lights ... and i like the big bumpers ... but i love them tucked in.

so are there any out there i could aquire
wheres the procedure for tucking the bumpers
isnt it just a matter of drilling new holes for the bolts

Perfect example of One Man's junk is another Man's treasure. I threw these out thinking nobody would ever want these let alone buy them! Go figure.
