Looking to buy an extendable steering column. I think it uses a different vacuum booster mount but am not sure. Looking to use in my 1973 E9. Must be in excellent restorable condition.
 
Same issue I seem find. No covers, no mounting platform. What it bolts to is different than a stock fixed column.

Much appreciated. Looking for the column with the cover and the mount to the booster as this is also different.

E3 adjustable steering column pedalbox assembly will not fit to E9, outside they might look much alike but when you put both side by side - technically they are different. Only upper column & pedals separately might be used.
 
with a link to more info on the differences of the pedal boxes - just to help and prevent frustration of buying the wrong parts.

About two years ago i purchased E3 adjustable steering column mount part with tubing & it is/was slightly different if compare to E9...
