Hi,

Looking for a source for the decorative chrome plastic caps for the armrests on our coupes; I have one (driver side) that is missing. I checked the usual sources; coupeking, LIJ, Maximillian and they are not available. Does anyone have know of a source, or would have a cap that they are willing to sell? It does not have to be in perfect condition as long as it is not cracked or chipped, I don't mind if the "chrome" has peeled off.

thanks,

Walter

Find the part number on RealOEM then paste it into their search box.

I doubt any of the dealers have the part if Maximillian can't get it since they source from the same place?

Scott,
How do you look up coupe parts on here. It only goes back to 1980. I saw a link that said older BMW and still only to 1980?

If the above doesn't work, I probably have a well loved one out in the garage.

Hmm - Interesting. I intend to have several plastic parts 3D scanned in the coming weeks. I'll throw one of my caps into the handful of parts. I intend to recover mine with chrome vinyl. The same would work well for repro's.
