I need cores for the two sides for my center console NON-ac. (aka Storing Partition on RealOEM) I bought new machine stitched covers that fit over the old cores (Thanks Gerrit!), but I would like to keep my old embossed stitched covers intact and install the new ones on different cores. Thanks! RB

Hey Roger,

I could cut you some from wood. I have an extra set I can use as a pattern although mine are for an AC car. Not sure of the difference?

I'm a great wood worker!

Hi Roger

We'd like to hear more about the machine stitched covers. How good is the fit and the look of the vinyl?

AC vs Non-AC

Gary,

The non-AC panels have a slightly different curve. I could ship my spares to you if you would like to whip up a couple sets.

Thanks to all of the responses!
Tom: The vinyl looks good. I have not tried fitting them yet, because I don't want to disassemble the ones I have. The main reason I want original cores is because Gerrit says the seam fits into the groove in top of the cores to keep the seam straight. I have not seen a core without the vinyl yet to be able to discuss how this works out. If Gerrit says it will, I believe it.

Gary: If you had a non-ac pattern from bwalvoord, I'm sure you could duplicate them.

Richard:

It would make more sense for me to go ahead and remove the vinyl from the ones I have before spending that much for shipping plus the cores?!!? Thanks!

I will look at mine tomorrow, decide the best option, and get back to y'all.

I guess I will carefully remove my covers and install the cores in the new covers. I may come across some perfect panels or cheap cores someday. Thanks!
